The BV Series Bat Wing Style Brush Mowers

The BV Series Bat Wing Style Brush Mowers are pto powered tractor mounted bat wing style brush mowers available in cutting widths of 15 and 20 ft., and are designed to be pulled by large tractors up through 160 hp (45-160 hp on 15 ft. models, and 70 to 160 hp on the 20 ft. wide models). The mowers use brush cutting swinging type blades to give you a maximum cutting diameter of 2 inches. These units can be used to cut tall weeds as they have an adjustable cutting height from a low of 1 inch (15 ft. model), 2 inches (20 ft. model) up to a 15 inch maximum cutting height. Models are available with either a 540 rpm gear box or 1000 rpm gear box, and available in yellow as shown in the photo as well as JD green.

• Mowers feature gear boxes with high torque capacities than most competitors, 160/120 hp gearboxes (main center power divider gear box rated at 160 hp and gear boxes on wings rated at 120 hp), gear boxes are made tough to ensure years of worry-free performance, and are backed by a 6 year limited warranty



• High torque CV driveline is available on 540 and 1000 rpm models



• Smooth, sloped deck sheds water and debris, resisting rust and corrosion, mowers have a 10 year deck rust through warranty



• Deep 13 inch side frame for maximum material capacity



• Innovative wing design, allows close trimming to objects



• Full-length replacable side skids feature a large wear surface for greater durability and a formed angle to prevent scalping



• Standard stump jumpers protect gearbox from obstructions and six inches of blade overlap ensure a clean cut



• Full-length 1 inch hinge pin is longer than found on the competition



• Floating cylinder link on each wing extends cylinder life



• Mowers come complete with wing lift cylinders and hoses



• Safetly lock easily secures deck for safe, simple transporting

• Deck Shielding: rubber belting is standard, single or double row chain shield is optional
