Hurricane Series Three Point Hitch Mount Flail Mowers

Hurricane 80 series 3 point hitch mount flail mowers are designed to center mount on category I or II three point hitches on tractors from 40 to 80 engine HP. The Hurricane 80 series flail mowers are available in widths of 72, 88, and 100 inches, and can be ordered with your choice of fine cut or course cut knives. The H80 heavy duty flail mowers are for finish cutting and cutting of heavy grass and weeds. The maximum recommended cutting size of branches is approximately 1/2 inch in diameter.

  • Two heavy duty reinforced notched belts


  • Heavy duty, one piece, balanced rotor


  • Mower is center mounted on hitch


  • Optional gauge wheels available


  • Front and Rear tractor mounting


  • Cutting height is 3/4 inches to 6 inches on all models


  • Forward and Reverse rotor rotation, clockwise is standard


  • Replaceable skids


  • Semi-automatic belt tensioner
